Job Title: QA Manager

Seeking experienced professional to join as Quality Assurance Manager. This high energy individual is expected to leverage the wealth of experience and stay innovative to champion and lead overall product quality and test activities in Transera.   

Responsibilities

As the Quality Assurance Manager this person has the responsibility to: 

  • Build and manage product quality assurance team.
  • Drive and develop system functional and system deployment test strategies objectives and test cases; and implement them to meet and surpass customer quality expectation.
  • Encourage and cultivate creativity and test innovation; drive test automation within and across teams and develop effective measures and reports.
  • Work with development and QA to establish efficient and adaptive product development processes to support multiple concurrent releases of client/server products.
  • Work with development product management and operations to make sure product objectives are achieved and provide a smooth transition from product release to global operations.
  • Proactively manage multiple projects and customer escalation issues to provide total customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in managing QA team(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive successful client/server product quality programs and successful work with distributed team environment.
  • Team player who is a self starter with a can do attitude.
  • Deep understanding of distributed system client/server architecture large scale deployment of distributed system applications and integration with backend systems.
  • Hands on experience with Selenium Perl and or Python and/or other automation tools
  • Experience in managing offshore teams
  • Knowledge of high availability and scalable system deployment experience
  • Hands on knowledge of MySQL Linux and managing a lab of over 30 linux servers.
  • Experience in testing both front end and back end testing
  • Hands-on and passionate about product quality client/server system level testing system architecture and usability.
  • Excellent written oral communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Desirable
  • Experience with SaaS applications.
  • Knowledge of VMWare.
  • PBX CTI ACD or Contact center experience.
  • VOIP experience.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Work under close supervision and direction of engineering manager to design and develop systems and database software modules for the company’s products applying principles of web application development Java call center technology and VoIP technology; perform user and functional requirement analysis for the products.

Experience/Skills

  • Five plus years of Java development experience.
  • Strong understanding of OO concepts.
  • Strong server side programming.
  • Familiarity with web servers such as Tomcat Apache.
  • Object oriented software design and high performance implementation.
  • Clear communication software design unit test and documentation skills.
  • Experience with AIM client/Chat protocols is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic.
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Prefer Masters degree.

Job Title: Product Support Engineer

Leveraging voice network diagnostic tools and customer support relationship management skills this individual will be the core of customer care. This position is highly visible requiring superior technical and domain expertise in call center products and telecommunications industries. Prior Technical Support experience in a hosted application service environment is a plus.

Experience/Skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors.
  • Proven ability to own problems from beginning to end.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Technical skills should include Linux remote access/troubleshooting tools voice and data networking diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate well across the organization and with external vendors
Education
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
