Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Work under close supervision and direction of engineering manager to design and develop systems and database software modules for the company’s products applying principles of web application development Java call center technology and VoIP technology; perform user and functional requirement analysis for the products.

Experience/Skills

• Five plus years of Java development experience
• Strong understanding of OO concepts
• Strong server side programming
• Familiarity with web servers such as Tomcat Apache
• Object oriented software design and high performance implementation.
• Clear communication software design unit test and documentation skills
• Experience with AIM client/Chat protocols is a plus
• Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic..

Education

Job Title: Senior Product Support Engineer

Leveraging voice network diagnostic tools and customer support relationship management skills this individual will be the core of customer care. This position is highly visible requiring superior technical and domain expertise in call center products and telecommunications industries. Prior Technical Support experience in a hosted application service environment is a plus.

Experience/Skills

• Strong understanding of call center technologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors
• Proven ability to own problems from beginning to end
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Technical skills should include Linux remote access/troubleshooting tools voice and data networking diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
• Ability to collaborate well across the organization and with external vendors

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Design develop and augment Seratel application software to address customer issues.  Work with other members of the development and test teams along with engineering management to enhance performance and improve stability of the solution while addressing scalability.  Provide engineering support in integrating with third party products and troubleshooting issues found in production.

Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsible for performing functional and regression tests on Transera's new software releases as well as design and deploy new test case scenarios.  Develop automation tools and frameworks along with team in India.  Must be detail oriented and be able to troubleshoot problems and issues.

Experience/Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
• Experience in testing Web based technologies.
• Familiarity with APIs and/or command line tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools including Winrunner SilkTest and Selenium.
• Experience in programming in Perl tcl/expect and/or Java or shell scripting.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience in managing test beds with servers and networking equipment.
• Experience with VoIP and SIP.  Call center experience is a bug plus.
• 5 - 7 years of QA/Test experience.  Must be fully knowledgeable on software development life cycle and common tools used like Bugzilla cvs etc.
• Experience with virtualization software solutions (VmWare).

Job Title: Lead NOC Engineer

This individual will be the core of application deployment and monitoring.  This position is highly visible and requires superior technical and domain expertise in call center products and telecommunications industries.  Prior NOC leadership experience in a hosted application service environment is a plus. 

Experience/Skills

• Ability to handle 24x7 Level 1 and Level 2 teams
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Very good knowledge of Linux and networking (3+ years experience)
• Proven ability to own problems from beginning to end
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to monitor employee performance and coach and motivate team members
• Coordinate cross-functional team work
• Manage weekly operations plans and incident response plans
• Oversee problem management by monitoring critical incidents escalating incidents to appropriate support resources and communicating status
